IKEA TV

The IKEA TV is coming and it looks good! they actually combined the furniture and the TV into one. Reminds me of how TV used to be growing up. The TV screens were not separate and you would be able to but a huge cabinet that included the TV and speakers. It would take up an entire side of a family room. Of course as the years went on that huge cabinet TV would usually go out and what would dad do....yes, he would be a smaller TV and place it on top of the existing, non-working boat of a TV cabinet.

Back to the IKEA cabinet features: The upcoming Uppleva is a Wi-Fi-ready smart TV. It features an LED-backlit display, full 1080p HD resolution, and 400Hz response time, along with standard accoutrements like USB and HDMI ports for connecting peripherals. But it’s not just a TV — it’s the anchor of a full-fledged media center, with a built-in Blu-ray/DVD/CD player, a 2.1 surround sound system, and extra storage spaces for tucking away cables and your extensive Blu-ray collection.
